The People Who Make It Happen
Brad Berdon, President – Dad
Brad is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and comes from long line of business owners dating back to the 1800’s. The Berdon family originally founded a candy company in Natchez Mississippi named, The Salvo and Berdon Candy Company. The candy company dates back to the late 1800’s where they made hard candy and then later bottled their own soda pop (Berdon’s Beverages).
The Salvo and Berdon Candy Company originally had the opportunity to bottle soda for Coca-Cola in the early 1900’s but they selected Orange Crush instead.
Duties include not drinking soda (ironically) and overseeing sales, and marketing. Our permission based sales approach assures you a non-pushy, professional sales experience. We work with your budget and your timeline to find the right size/ type water system that meets your needs.
Tina Berdon, Vice President – Mom
Tina is a rare Jacksonville native and is also the brains of the operation. Before she joined the staff at Florida Water Technologies Inc. Tina was in stenograpy where she typed crazy fast (200 words per minute 99% accuracy!).
Her duties include relaxing in the sun and office manager. She handles all things administrative from accounts receivable/payable, to corresponding service and filter change reminders for you. If you need to set up a filter service or a general service contact Tina.
Cindy Michutka, Data Manager
When Cindy is not managing data for FWT Inc., she is busy providing loving care to her grand children. With her warm personality and “can do” attitude, Cindy helps us keep up with our thousands of satisfied customers. She specifically handles new and existing customer integration into Sales Force. We are glad to have her apart of the team.
Chris Gell, Service Manager
Chris has a decorated construction management and water treatment background. A fun fact on Chris is he used to be a sue chief and he makes a mean lightly breaded grilled country rib dinner. Chris’s main responsibility is overseeing our team of installation and service technicians. We currently have 3 installer/ service techs. Our installations and service calls are on time and professionally completed. Courtesy for you and your home are a staple of Chris and our team. Rumor has it that Chris frequents the cologne section and that he really smells great.
Josh Hill, Installer Technician
Josh Hill is an excellent installer and water system technician. More qualified than most Josh graduated Magna Cum Laude in Marine Science from JU, with a minor in Chemistry and Glass Blowing. So if you ask Josh what’s in your water get ready for more info than you were probably ready for. In his off time Josh enjoys blowing glass as well as teaching glass blowing.
